Friday, September 26, 2025
American 1 Events Center, 128 W. Ganson St, Jackson, MI 49201
For Schools and Chaperones:
Chaperone Ratio:
Each school must provide at least 1 adult chaperone for every 6 students. Chaperones are responsible for supervising students throughout the event and ensuring they follow all tradeshow rules.
We encourage schools to invite parents to join as chaperones. This is a great opportunity for parents to be actively involved in their children's future, offering support and guidance as students explore potential career paths in manufacturing. Having parents engaged will help create a more meaningful experience for students as they connect with employers and explore opportunities.
Attendance and Check-In:
Schools must ensure that all students and chaperones check in at the registration desk upon arrival. Please arrive on time to allow for smooth entry into the event.
Student Behavior:
Chaperones are responsible for maintaining appropriate student behavior. Students should be respectful when interacting with vendors, exhibitors, and other attendees.
Chaperones must ensure students stay engaged in the tradeshow and do not sit around or become disengaged. This is a valuable learning opportunity, and students should be actively participating.
Students should not linger in hallways or restrooms. Chaperones are responsible for keeping students in the designated event areas to ensure safety and focus on the tradeshow.
Emergency Contact Information:
Schools should provide emergency contact information for all chaperones in case of any issues during the event.
For Students:
Dress Code:
Students should dress as if they are attending a job interview. Professional attire is encouraged—this is a great opportunity to make a good impression on potential future employers.
